At the County AGM,  Jimmy Summons of Kessingland Bowls Club was made a life member of the Association.  Jimmy has won 51 county titles and  TEN National titles and has represented the County on more than 200 occasions.

'With 5 County winners and several players involved in the Adams,Newton and U25's Teams, the Area would like to congratulate the following:
Adams Team members Justin Sims, Jimmy Summons, Mark Cole and Andrew Burch for helping win the title. Newton Team members Shaun Cook, Craig Parfitt, Bernie Firman and Neil Newsome for helping win the title.U25's Reg Wright Team members Craig Parfitt, Lauren Clarke, Kirsty Clarke and Darren Mann for becoming Runners Up in the competition.
In the U25's Singles Craig Parfitt lost to the eventual Runner Up, 4 Bowl Singles Trevor Gowen reached the Semi-Final and lost to the eventual winner, Veteran Singles Michael Patterson lost in the Final 21-16, 3 Bowl Rinks Craig Parfitt, Mark Cole and Shaun Cook lost their 2nd consecutive Final 22-4 and last but not least 2 Bowl Rinks Paul Utting, John Hurren and Andrew Burch Won the National Title for the 2nd time in 3 years 17-16.
As the Area Secretary i feel proud of what our Area has achieved once again this year, as well as all the above we mustn't forget Lowestoft Railway B.C for winning the Senior Cup.
Another memorable year, i'm proud of my Area, Well Done Everyone.
And what a year for Suffolk in General'.
