Congratulations to our Team blend of young and more experienced bowlers with at least 10 who had not represented the Area

in the last 10 years or who were making their debut.  Last end, last game, 1 wood to bowl with it 1 down on the scoreboard and

1 down on the green – it really can’t get much closer but it was not to be!   Area A bowled very well but there were some fine

performances from those representing our Area as well.

We now play Area C (last years winners) in the 3rd/4th Place Play Off at 11am on Sunday, 7th August at Bildeston BC where a

win is vital if we are to avoid the ignominy of receiving the wooden spoon!
