Why did only 8 Clubs enter the Senior Cup this year? Is it not the FA Cup of bowls with an opportunity for the minnow to turn over a big Club? Playing in the Waldringfield side that defeated mighty California in the County Semi Final last year was a great thrill! In the Preliminary Round of this years Senior Cup Stradbroke & District will be looking for revenge at Waldringfield after losing to them in last years Area Final whilst Borough of Eye, having to play in the Senior Cup this year after winning the 2011 County Junior Cup title, are the home team in a juicy encounter with Laxfield. It would take a clever man to pick the winner of the Junior Cup this year.
