It is an honour and a privilege to be elected President of S.C.B.A and I would like to thank you for electing me.

I would also like to thank my club Thurlton for all their support.  I will do my best to uphold the high standards of S.C.B.A and to promote Suffolk bowls wherever I travel throughout the year.

I got into bowls through watching my son play and have played with him in blocks, also with his grandmother and great grandparents. Bowls truly is a sport for all ages and abilities and can be enjoyed by all, so if you have friends or relatives, of any age, who you think may enjoy a friendly game why not invite them to your club and let’s keep the game of bowls growing.  I wish you all an enjoyable and successful season and hope to meet many of you throughout this year.
